The Whiskeydaddle is proud to partner with Running Central to offer participants an incredible opportunity to prepare and train for ANY of the race distances offered.

2018 RC Training 5k/10k Training

This training program is for those individuals who have been running and are looking for a structured program to help them improve and enjoy their running experience

  • Participants are given a weekly schedule from the coach
  • Participants meet twice per week (except Q1) with the coach of the program for a structured work-out
  • Participants communicate directly with the coach
  • Cost of the program varies depending on session ($80 for Q1 that only meets on Tuesdays, $100 for 12 Week, $50 for 6 Week)
  • PERKS of the program:
    • 12 week training schedule (except for Q4)
    • Experienced coaching, accountability, feedback, and a great social network to build friends and training buddies
    • 15% discount on all regular priced and in-stock items at Running Central for the duration of the program

  • Q2 [12 weeks] – April 16th – July 8th (Tuesdays and Thursday 5:45PM)
  • Q3 [12 weeks] – July 16th – October 7th (Tuesdays and Thursdays 5:45PM)
    • ^Perfect to get you “race ready” for the Shot 5k or the Bootlegger Marathon Relay!
  • Q4 [6 weeks] – October 8th – November 18th (Tuesdays and Thursdays 5:45PM)
5K/10K Training – SIGN UP

2018 RC Training for ½ Marathon & Marathon

This 14 week training program is to help participants complete and finish a half or full marathon.  Participants attending this program should be currently running 15 miles per week.

*Note: This program will also help anyone training for a 15k!

  • Participants are given a weekly schedule from the coach
  • Participants meet twice per week with the coach of the program for a structured work-out
  • Participants communicate directly with the coach
  • Cost of the program varies depending on session ($125 for 14 Week, $50 for 6 Week)

    • 14 week training schedule
    • Experienced coaching, accountability, feedback, and a great social network to build friends and training buddies!
    • 15% discount on all regular priced and in-stock items at Running Central during the length of the program

2018 RC Training (½ Marathon & Marathon) Schedule:

  • Steamboat Classic GAP Session [7 weeks] – April 30th – June 17th (Tuesday and Thursday at 5:45pm)
  • Fall Program – July 2nd – October 7th (Tuesday-Thursday 5:45PM)
    • ^Perfect to get you “race ready” for the Bottle Half Marathon or the Barrel Marathon!
  • Winter Program [6 weeks] – October 8th – November 18th (Tuesday-Thursday 5:45PM)

*Please note that NONE of these programs have minimums for ability or pace-per-mile.  These programs are inclusive to ALL people, ALL ages, ALL ability levels provided you have the appropriate base line fitness (ie, for the 5K/10K training, you are able to continually run for 30 minutes non-stop)  to begin the program.
