“I wish you would have asked me to dance to that,”
she said looking up at the second-floor windows.
Dan jumped a bit at the sound of her voice then looked down to see her
smiling up at him warmly.
“If we were up there, I would have,”
“You’re not afraid to dance?”
she kidded him.
“Not at all,”
“But we’re down here now.”
“We can still dance,”
said Dan with a mischievous smile.
The streets were mostly empty now as the midnight hour grew near. The

Daisy cocked an eyebrow as Dan turned to her, offering his hand. She took
